Be Clear and Concise – Chose a topic and frame your letter in the first sentence. Make sure your letter is as brief as possible. Often, letters over 200 words are not printed.
Keep it Simple – Make, at most, three strong points and close by making a strong appeal to voters on why you support Congressman Roskam.
Check for Grammar and Spelling – Make sure you proofread your letter before submitting it.
Track Your Letter – After submitting your letter, make sure it gets printed. If you don't get a call verifying your letter with the paper, follow up!
